An updated navigation comes to Operandio
There's a noticeable change this month to Operandio! We've implemented a new navigation system to accommodate the exciting features coming to the platform.
New left-hand navigation setup
While our top navigation setup has served us well on desktop and kiosk devices, we've started to outgrow it. As a result, navigation has now been moved to the left-hand side of the screen. You'll also notice some page layout adjustments throughout the app, allowing us to better utilize this wider structure. Watch the video below for a quick overview on how this new setup will look within the app — if you don't already see this new navigation within your account, you should start to see it over the coming days.
We're also making improvements to filtering and search across Operandio to standardize the experience and enhance usability for everyone.
Ability to edit notes on response steps
Previously, you could only delete notes added to responses in a job. Now, you can edit them as well by simply clicking or tapping the note you want to modify.
You might have missed...
- Training courses now support tags: If these tags form part of a View in your business, you'll be able to see these courses within that View under the Training tab.
- Action permissions have changed: Location managers and regional managers can now update any actions at their venues, regardless of whether they've been assigned to them or not.
Bugfixes
- 🖼️ We've fixed an issue with some images being squashed vertically in PDF reports of jobs
- ❗ Fixed a bug that caused incorrect ordering of the Attention Items list on the dashboard
- 📊 Within the Reports area, the Job filter wasn't applying correctly to the Actions raised by locations charts — this has now been fixed.
- 📊 Also within Reports, the Single step reporting tab within Jobs could have issues depending on the response types within the job — this is now also resolved.
- 📧 Fixed a small email validation error that could sometimes prevent users from importing multiple people into the system
- 🏷️ Fixed an issue where tags could be updated on the template of an active job within the Job Manager (this was a user interface bug only, no tag changes were saved)
- 🌡️ An upstream issue with sensor readings meant that temperatures were sometimes showing incorrectly in the app, this has been resolved.
