We've added email notifications to your Operandio Actions!

Firstly, it's now a lot easier to raise an action within Operandio directly from your Dashboard. There is a new quick link visible on desktop, tablet and mobile devices:

Secondly, you will not get an email notification when someone assigns an action to you, comments or marks an action resolved. You will only get notified for actions you are linked to either directly or via your areas of work.

If you need to - you can manage your notification preferences through the Settings > Your Notifications area.

Action items are now much more usable so we hope you make the most of the latest improvements across your business today!

We've released Operandio v1.0.20 into iOS & Android app stores!

Update through your iOS App Store or Android Google Play store to get the latest.

This update features support for a new photo submission step camera. Easily select image quality to suit your connectivity, and upload multiple photos in one go.

We will be enabling this new camera for all customers on Monday, June 19th. Please ensure your apps are updated before then, or contact us if you would like this enabled earlier.

Another great feature we are excited to introduce - multiple choice quizzes for your Operandio Training Courses & Knowledge Base articles.

Quiz your trainees as they progress through your training courses, increase information retention, and gather valuable results & insights.

Quizzes integrate seamlessly with your Operandio Knowledge Base articles. Just jump in, edit your Knowledge Base article and add the new Multiple Choice Question content type.

You can include as many questions as you'd like per article, specifying one correct & several incorrect answers. 

Answers are displayed to trainees in a continuously randomized order and are mandatory to continue through each article in your Training Courses Modules.

Capture an overview of training status across your team members in the Reports > Training area.

You can also set up Triggers to engage managers by email, push & in-app notifications when a Training Course is completed.

Introducing a powerful new addition to your Operandio processes - multiple custom schedules per process.

You can now create any number, and any combination of recurring, one-off & ad-hoc schedules, start, due, end day/times, locations, people & areas of work.

This highly flexible & granular control of process schedules is really useful for processes that:

• Run multiple times per day at your locations, for example, restroom cleaning morning, midday and afternoon
• Run multiple instances in parallel, for example, 30 x weekly go-kart inspections
• Run at a different start, due & finish time on weekends, for example, open & closing checklists
• Are assigned to different areas or people at the same or any combination of locations
• And no doubt much more...

We've also made improvements with the ability to set due at and available until days/times hours or days into the future.

We've added a handy export to PDF function to jobs. While working with the live system is usually best, sometimes you just need to save or share job output through other channels. Great for your ad hoc incident reports, stock order forms, audit & review results, and more.

1. Raising action items

Turn issues into actions so nothing gets missed! You can now give your staff the power to create an action item directly from a job step when they see something is wrong. This means the right people are made aware quicker, resulting in a safer environment for everyone!

Here's how it works:

They then describe the issue, attach a photo (optional) and assign it to a supervisor/manager:

2. Improved design update for ‘skipping steps’

Not every single step from every single job can be completed every single day, it's now easier for staff to skip steps. We highly recommend that you encourage staff to skip a step, rather than leave it blank/incomplete. This will give you more powerful data and insights about your operations within the Reporting feature.

3. New job response types including photo evidence submissions

You can now add photo evidence to your corrective actions. What this means is a worker will be able to upload a photo against each action item to prove exactly what has been done to correct the non-conformance. We've also added maintenance/inspection response types as well.

When creating or editing a job, choose 'Photo submission' as the type of response for the relevant steps:

4. Sensors & automated temperature monitoring

Our new temperature sensors allow you to remotely monitor the temperature of all your equipment including fridges, freezer, server rooms and more! The moment a temperature falls outside the appropriate range, you get an SMS notification.

1. Reporting is now in beta

You now have complete insight into how your business performs across all your sites. You can also track individual staff performance and progress, all via the new reporting dashboard. This will give you complete control and visibility across your sites, even when you’re not there.

2. Pinning now works for multiple job types

You can now pin fortnightly, monthly and yearly jobs. Jobs that are pinned will show up every day for your staff until they are completed. Previously, it was easy to lose track of certain jobs if they were not completed on the same day they were scheduled. This update also works for ad hoc jobs as well! Very useful for jobs that may need to stay active for more than one single day, they will now stay there until they are finished if you choose to pin a job.
