🧠 Smarter jobs, location actions & automatic user assignment
Operandio has released a new round of updates designed to reduce administration, improve job flexibility, and make managing growing operations easier.
🎯 Job step exclusion rules have been expanded
You can now automatically show or hide steps within a job based on location, location type, or custom field values, giving you more control over who sees what.
For example, a hospitality business may have some venues with outdoor dining areas and customer bathrooms, while others do not. By setting up these attributes at the location level, jobs can automatically display only the relevant steps for each venue.
When a new venue is added, or an existing venue's attributes change, simply update the location record and the job will adjust automatically - no changes to the template are required.
Location types and custom fields can be configured within the Locations area, with exclusion rules then applied to the relevant jobs within the Job Manager.
This makes job templates more scalable, consistent, and easier to maintain.
📍 View all actions assigned to a location
A new Actions tab is now available within Location records, allowing teams to raise, assign, and track actions directly against a location.
This provides better visibility of site-specific maintenance, compliance issues and operational improvements, all in one place.
You'll find this on individual locations in the Locations area.
👥 Automatic user assignment for new locations
Users assigned to "All locations" within a region will now automatically receive access to any new locations added to that region.
For example, if a Regional Manager has access to all Victorian locations, they’ll automatically gain access to any new venues created in Victoria.
This reduces manual administration each time new locations are added, and helps ensure the right people have access from day one.
We've also delivered a range of performance improvements and bug fixes across the platform to enhance stability and day-to-day usability.
More exciting enhancements are on the way 🚀
