๐ Knowledge Base file versioning, geolocation steps and reliability improvements
Operandio has released a new round of updates focused on improving process visibility, food safety controls, and overall platform reliability for your teams.
๐ย Geolocation steps
You can now include geolocation verification directly inside jobs and processes to help confirm that tasks are completed in the correct location and improve accountability for site-based workflows.
This is especially useful for multi-site operations, cleaning checks, maintenance tasks, and compliance-based activities.
Geolocation steps can be added to any new or existing job template within the Job Manager.
๐ Knowledge Base file versioning
Version history for Knowledge Base files has now been fully enabled for all customers, making it easier to manage updates and track changes across your documentation.
When you upload a similarly named file to a category in the Knowledge Base, you'll now have the option to save it as a new version of the existing file. You'll also be able to download previous versions of the file via the Version history, and check when versions were uploaded and who they were uploaded by.
We'll be bringing similar functionality to our Knowledge Base articles very soon as well.
๐ท๏ธ Shelf Life field for improved food safety control on labels
You can now display Shelf Life on labels for quick visibility of when an item is due to be discarded. Rather than just relying on an expiry date, the Shelf Life field lets you display the amount of time (in hours, days, or weeks) before the item expires.
This small enhancement gives teams better visibility and control over food safety processes by helping standardise expiry tracking and reducing manual calculations when preparing labels.
๐ง Platform improvements & bug fixes
Weโve also resolved several issues across the platform to improve stability and day-to-day usability:
- Fixed a bug in the Timers area where some timers that had been started were unable to be paused or stopped.
- Resolved an error in the Actions area when viewing high-resolution images uploaded against individual actions.
- Resolved an error that would occur when attempting to assign to "All locations" within the Training Pathway auto-assignment screen.
- Attempting to view "All steps" in the Hazards & Incidents reports would result in an error, this has now been fixed.
- ...and more!
These updates are designed to improve reliability, streamline workflows, and give teams better operational visibility across the platform. More improvements are on the way ๐
