1. Raising action items

Turn issues into actions so nothing gets missed! You can now give your staff the power to create an action item directly from a job step when they see something is wrong. This means the right people are made aware quicker, resulting in a safer environment for everyone!

Here's how it works:

Staff can log issues directly from a job:

They then describe the issue, attach a photo (optional) and assign it to a supervisor/manager:

The manager gets an email/push notification and is alerted when they next open the app:

There is a new 'Actions' area within the Comms Hub, where managers can keep track of and manage unresolved and resolved action items:

2. Improved design update for ‘skipping steps’

Not every single step from every single job can be completed every single day, it's now easier for staff to skip steps. We highly recommend that you encourage staff to skip a step, rather than leave it blank/incomplete. This will give you more powerful data and insights about your operations within the Reporting feature.

3. New job response types including photo evidence submissions

You can now add photo evidence to your corrective actions. What this means is a worker will be able to upload a photo against each action item to prove exactly what has been done to correct the non-conformance. We've also added maintenance/inspection response types as well.

Here's how photo evidence response types work:

When creating or editing a job, choose 'Photo submission' as the type of response for the relevant steps:

4. Sensors & automated temperature monitoring

Our new temperature sensors allow you to remotely monitor the temperature of all your equipment including fridges, freezer, server rooms and more! The moment a temperature falls outside the appropriate range, you get an SMS notification.
